What 8th grade guys look for in a girl
My eldest daughter began 8th grade this week and I am already overwhelmed with the possibilities and realities that this year holds. In middle school, 8th graders are the coolest and the most respected kids on campus. They relish and take full advantage of all privileges bestowed upon them as 8th graders. Naturally, I am perfectly prepared to over-stress about her grades because I want her to get into a top-tier high school - but I am not at all prepared for the other "stuff" that comes with being in the 8th grade. My daughter is only 12 soon to be 13 in the 8th grade, but she looks and acts like her older classmates and friends.SEE VIDEO BY TOPIC: What Every 8th Grade Girl Needs To Hear
How to Get a Girlfriend in Middle School
By Guest phantasma, February 10, in soompi hangout. Recently, I noticed that they've been having crushes on 7th grade girls. I mean, at first, I was fine, since it was only a couple of people.
But now, it's becoming a problem. All the eighth grade guys are liking the same exact 7th grade girls. It's either 7th grader 1, 7th grader 2, or 7th grader 3. I would be lying if I told you guys I wasn't annoyed at all. I mean, there are plenty of fine 8th grade girls like my friends and everyone, yet they choose the 7th grade girls instead. Does anybody think they can relate? If so, why do you think they did so?
Ok so what you're saying is that in general, grade 8 guys these days prefer grade 7 girls because there are these really hot 7th graders that are picking up all the upperclassmen dudes? Whereas all your friends are being show down and dumped to the side despite being awesome and all as well?
My advice for junior high schoolers is to simply focus more on studies than stressing over relationships. Well, males generally like to be older than the female in a relationship and especially in marriage, so therein lies the problem? Are the 7th grade girls deemed "easy" in your school? Maybe the guys like them because they want to get in their pants? Not saying that the guys are horny little bastards, but hey, I might be right!
Do you, as someone that's "older than that age" want to date someone that has absolutely no experience in dating cause all they did was study and not worry about relationships when they were younger? Even if you're a guy, can you really stand a girl that has no clue what she's doing? I think it's just an age thing. Most of the guys me and my friends hang out with are 1 year above us at school and we're like I think also at that age 7th-8th grade, the girls are more mature than the guys puberty and whatnot , so maybe the guys also want to hang around girls who are more around their maturity?
Idk lol that's just a theory. The second reason I can think of - Boys start puberty after girls. When I was in middle school, many of the girls were taller than the boys. So the boys go after younger girls because they are shorter. For a long time, the boys you're around are going to be interested in mostly just sex, and sex-like activities.
Because of this, they will be mostly attracted to the girls that they feel will be the most likely to engage in such activities with them. Uh, find some 9th graders guys? My middle school and high school are connected so it was easier to look for older guys. I don't know about your school though.
I'm not saying this because I'm ignoring your problems just because you're in eigth grade, but really, in middle school, your study habits for the rest of your academic career establishes, so you really shouldn't worry over guy problems. They have what attracts the 8th grade boys and you guys dont? They're graduating middle school, so they probably want to lose their virginity. At least, that's what my male friends told me in middle school.
Also, are they particularly curvaceous? I'm sorry but I thought your thread was cute haha umm I think guys have a tendency to like younger girls.. Starting middle school is an exciting new adventure. You'll make new friends and meet a lot of girls. Perhaps you have your eye on someone and you would like to make her your girlfriend. Take it step by step and before you know it, she'll realize how special you are, too. It might be the start of a great romance, or maybe just a great friendship, but you'll definitely stand out from the rest of the guys your age.

The piece came on the heels of a slew of recent research that showed a rise in depression and anxiety and a dip in confidence for girls, especially as they enter middle school. Friends were telling me stories about their struggling daughters, particularly around social media and feeling left out.
